๐Ÿ’ธย Understanding Tacter's Payment and Revenue

Many of you have been asking about how the payment system and revenue generation work on our platform. This article aims to clear up any confusion and help you understand how we calculate your estimated earnings for the payment cycles.

๐Ÿ“บ How Revenue Works on Tacter

Tacter operates similarly to YouTube (but on a smaller scale), incorporating third-party advertisements into various content and spaces on the page. These ads are charged based on a metric called RPM (Revenue per Mille), which means for every 1,000 impressions, a specific payment is agreed upon.

๐Ÿซฐย How Does RPM Work?

To keep it simple, here are the two main criteria for validating user views:

  • ๐Ÿ“ฃย Users must see the ad impact: They can't be using AdBlock.
  • ๐Ÿค–ย Users need to be real, not bots. This is verified on our server side.

Once we define which users count for the ads, letโ€™s dive into the topic of countries, which many of you have specifically asked about.

๐ŸŒย Region Distribution for the Advertising

At Tacter, we categorize traffic by country, with each country having a different RPM based on the number of brands and campaigns running. However, due to variations in active advertisers, we've adopted a more consolidated approach.

For example, South American countries are grouped together since their RPMs are similar. In Europe, advertisers typically include it in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region, which we further divide into three sub-regions: EMEA_1 EMEA_2, and EMEA_3.

Each sub-region has a distinct RPM based on the average number of advertisers and campaigns throughout the year.

And here are the countries within each region:
